Does My Bum Look Big In This?

We all know there are plenty of options when it becomes to styles of bikini tops.. We have the halter bikini, bandeau, tankini, monokini and the list goes on! However, styles of bikini bottoms really don’t get the attention they deserve!

Being wide enough to show off your curves, without leaving you looking like your grandmother, the Brazilian styles are cut thigh high and are usually skimpier than the everyday bikini. But don’t be put off! This leg lengthening wardrobe staple is flattering for most women and is becoming the style of choice around the globe.

For larger behinds, a full brief completely covering your behind can flatten and exaggerate the size with excess fabric rather than contouring your butt in all the right places. The skimpier cuts also add volume and a perkier shape to the smaller curves by avoiding becoming lost in the fabric.

  1. Buying bikinis that come in separates allows you to buy two different sizes, as well as find styles that accentuate your best features and create illusions where necessary
  2. Choose a bikini you are most comfortable in, the last thing you want is to feel uncomfortable and confidence is sexy!
  3. There’s a lot of variation when it comes to colour, embellishments and styles of a Brazilian bikini so keep trying until you find a style perfect for you (I find neon colours suit me the best!)
  4. Bolder, bright prints will enhance a smaller bottom where darker colours will trim your booty!
  5. Don’t feel like you need to rock a bikini at the beach to standout, a one piece can be just as much a showstopper as well. Plus it can also hide your midsection if this is a problem area for you
